Technology
has advanced tremendously over the past decade and so have contact
lenses. Astigmatism, distance and/ or
reading problems can be addressed with the many types of contact
lenses available on the market today. Soft, gas permeable, bifocal,
disposable, extended wear, and colored contact lenses are just
some of the types fit by our practice.
Dr.
Erin C. Sullivan is our contact lens specialist and is experienced
in fitting all
types
of patients, from routine, to more complex cases. She fits
patients with custom lenses to correct corneal diseases, such
as Keratoconus,
as well as post surgical eyes. She also fits cosmetic prosthetic
contact lenses. After a comprehensive eye examination with
one of our physicians, patients who are candidates for contact
lenses
can discuss their options.
Contact
lenses require further evaluation and follow- up than a regular
eye examination to ensure healthy
